Mission of WCA

Our Mission

Imagine a world where it takes
more than a century to achieve something as fundamental as gender parity in leadership.

That's the reality we're facing today—132 years.

But at the Women's Coaching Alliance, we're not willing to wait.
We refuse to accept this timeline.

We're here to break the barriers, to challenge the status quo.

How?

By empowering young women, those aged 15 to 26, developing them as leaders through something as universal as coaching youth sports.

We're not just offering them a coaching role; we're providing mentorship, tools, and skills that transcend the playing field. Skills that prepare them to lead, no matter where their journey takes them.

This is where we need you. Your support isn't just about changing the game in sports; it's about reshaping the future of leadership across all sectors.

Together, we can build a world where leadership knows no gender—faster, stronger, together. We're not just making a difference; we're making history.

Join us for the Trailblazing to the Top Event with Tara VanDerveer.

“Women deserve the same opportunities as any other gender and the work the Women’s Coaching Alliance is doing is critical for creating this space for athletes and coaches. A world with more female role models is a better one.”

NFL Commissioner
